Before an appointment can be
scheduled, Cat Behavior Associates may require that
your cat first be seen by your veterinarian for the specific
behavior complaint so underlying medical possibilities can
be ruled out.
Telephone consultations are
scheduled 7 days a week. Day and evening appointments are
available.
Telephone consultations last
1-2 hours.
Upon scheduling a telephone
consultation a behavioral history questionnaire will be
emailed to you. This form must be emailed back to our office
at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Telephone consultations must be
prepaid via PayPal at least 24 hours before your scheduled
appointment. Clients are responsible for long-distance
charges.

The fee
for a 1-2 hour telephone consultation is $285
For telephone consultations, it
is extremely helpful for us to have pictures and/or video of
the cat as well as the general environment. Please include
pictures of the litter box set-up, feeding station, sleeping
areas, favored areas, and places where the problem behavior
has occurred. We also request a simple diagram drawing of
the home. Pictures and video sent by postal mail can not be
returned.
Within 24 hours after your
telephone consultation you will receive a summary discharge
sheet, along with case-specific handouts and follow-up
instructions.
Consultation fee include 3
weeks of email follow-up. Clients needing further
communication beyond the 3 week period may schedule a
follow-up telephone consultation.
